How to Use This Tool

This tool is designed to work with AI image models like Nano Banana Pro, ChatGPT Images, Gemini, or similar services that can annotate images.

Workflow:

  1. Take your original image and ask an AI image model to add red annotations — circles, arrows, highlights, text, or drawings marking areas of interest.
  2. Upload that annotated image here (Step 1). This tool will extract only the red markings and make everything else transparent.
  3. Optionally, upload your original unannotated image (Step 2) to overlay the extracted red annotations on top — giving you clean annotations without any AI artifacts or changes to the original image.

This is especially useful when AI models slightly alter the underlying image while adding annotations. By extracting just the red marks and overlaying them on your pristine original, you get the best of both worlds: AI-generated annotations on your unmodified original image.
